Disney World warns visitors after rabies incident near Epcot – Yahoo Lifestyle

However, the FDOH provided resources for anybody who has been bitten or scratched by a cat in the area of southwest Orange County. According to&nbsp;Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “the rabies virus infects the central nervous system,” but can be prevented by staying away from wildlife and seeking medical care after potential exposure.” data-reactid=”26″>Representatives from Disney World didn’t immediately respond to Yahoo Lifestyle’s request for comment. However, the FDOH provided resources for anybody who has been bitten or scratched by a cat in the area of southwest Orange County. As of Wednesday evening, there have been no reports of park-goers impacted by the feral animal.
